WHAT!?

What year IS it? Just try any one of these and realize your potential for coffee greatness. If you make them for your friends, relatives, mailcarrier, newspaper boy, shopkeeper, or neighbor then prepare to be inundated with future requests for one. Just a warning.

Tasty Maple

Kind of a new Wintertime favorite.

1. Butterscotch chips! No, not chocolate chips, although they should be on the same shelf at your local grocer.

2. Maple sugar. Might be hard to find, but worth the search. If not, check here.

3. Brown sugar. Hopefully you have some of this in your pantry. If not, what’s wrong with you?

This recipe is for a one and done beverage, not a Ball jar full for your fridge. Grab your steamer cup. I use one very similar to the one above. It’s only slightly amazing to have a handle-less steamer cup. There’s just something wonderful about it.

Into steamer cup add 2 oz. of the butterscotch chips.

1 tsp. of the maple powder.

1 tbsp brown sugar.

Half & half or milk of choice to fill steamer cup to regular capacity.

Delicious. Now get out there and go snowshoeing. Or just shovel snow if that needs to happen.

Pumpkin Spice Goop

Add ½ of a 15-ounce can of pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine all in a sauce pan over low heat with a cup of heavy whipping cream. Let it simmer for 10-ish minutes or until the sugars are fully dissolved. No lumps allowed. Gross.

Let cool and pour into a Ball Jar, then into the fridge. Then drink it around people and make them furious they got theirs from that green & white joint.
